A co-worker of mine who is of Italian heritage and knows of my interest in model rail roading decided to share a link with me to pictures of a RR Museum in Italy.

Facinating stuff. I especially liked the Mountain Locomotives with the geared cogs which used a toothed center rail to get up the hill. So to speak...
