I have one and it works well enough for model train purposes. I dropped it, and broke the glass paint jar. I was able to replace it with an old paint bottle. I also broke the trigger in the same fall and was able to mill out a screw to replace that too. I believe that I've owned it for about five years now and with the repairs she is still going fine, but for 38 bucks I may get a new one. I think I paid about $50. for mine and it only came with one set of needles.
