Greetings, gang.

A little cool and somewhat breezy in the remote reaches of northern Iowa this morning. Currently 51 headed for maybe 61 later on with some partially clearing skies.

Some progress yesterday as I was able to pull up the last of the old carpet and get some quarter round installed. Then I got the gaming desk moved back into position. By the end of the day I was pretty run down. Taking a day off today. I want to go to Ames to look at a new car. My current car has about 93,000 miles and it's getting time to take it to the dealer for a 100,000 mile checkup. It also needs new tires. Also need some new tennis shoes. My yard work shoes are about dead so my current shoes will get promoted to castle maintenance when I get the new shoes.

Mikey - I was happy so see him leave. He's the 4th one I've had in the house. Apparently one manages to find its way in every 10 years or so.

Gas is holding at $2.69.
