Greetings, gang.
A pleasant 58 degrees this morning head for an equally pleasant 83 but with a chance for some showers later this morning. Turning cooler, rainy, and windy tomorrow.
Yesterday was another productive day. Got the grocery shopping done and then did 14 miles on the bike. After lunch I varnished the flooring I had stained on Monday. We'll see how it looks later today. Had to make a second trip to Menards. My garden sprayer died and I needed a replacement. Took the SuperCruiser but realized the sprayer may not fit in the under seat storage. Managed to make it work. I should have realized it was a wasted effort. The original sprayed that the weed killer come with quit working. I replaced the batteries and it still didn't work Just went out to look and the weeds look a little sickly but will probably recover. I need to find a different weed killer. I used Ortho Weed Stop. Doesn't look like it's even going to slow the weeds down, let alone stop them. Today I want to run the edger around the sidewalk before the rain gets here.
Gas was down to $3.29 yesterday.
