The roadbed is already done in 2" styrofoam and plastered.
The idea to press rocks into a sculptamold layer isn't bad at all to start. Then add more rocks layers and debris...
I thought I could use some kind of acrylic medium used by painter used to create relief and cover it with the rocks.
EDIT: I once saw this layout somewhere on the web! I didn't know it was australian, he really did a nice job modelling scenes between two seasons.
