The Hobo Camp Fire Is going well #X.. Stop In!!!
Greetings, gang.

Clear skies greeted me again this morning. Looks to be another sunny day with a high in the low to mid 60s. 70s for tomorrow and Friday along with possible thunderstorms on Friday. Then 40s for the high on Saturday.

Pool was cold again yesterday at the gym so I only swam one length and got out. Spent a half our on an elliptical machine instead. I'll try the pool again today along with some resistance work. Also will spend some time on the bicycle this afternoon.

Had a surprising notification from my Android phone yesterday. It told me that a program was running "aggressively" in the background and would soon drain the battery and asked if I wanted to put the program in "deep sleep." Of course my answer was yes. The program? Google!

All stay safe.

THURSDAY 3/13/25
Hello Blue
Charlie I hope things at you house are improving.
My wife is moving around ok but still complaining about the hurt in her breastbone.
I was out this morning to a visit with the skin doctor. She sprayed some things and sent me on my way. A White Castle stood between me and home so I had to stop.
Gas was still at $2.89.

Greetings, gang.

It's currently a very mild 55 with 75 scheduled for this afternoon. On the other hand, our good friends at the NWS have also scheduled some rather unsettled weather for this evening into the overnight hours with the possibility of strong storms, high winds, and possibly a tornado or two thrown into the mix. Then a high tomorrow only in the mid 40s. Spring in the upper midwest.

I skipped the gym yesterday but did a considerable amount of yard work. Also got in a 10 mile bike ride. In addition I washed the car. If I get the ambition I may clean the inside today and possibly wax it.

All stay safe.

Good Morning

I am still shaky so I am not able to do much.  Still taking 5 different prescription medicines, 2 are antibiotics to keep the blisters from the drug reactions from infecting. They are almost healed so I hope I can get off of them soon. My last dose of prednisone is tomorrow so that may help my taste buds to recover.

We may get some of that nasty weather too.

      Nothing trainwise to report

Good afternoon folks

It is a pleasant 57 which appears to be our high for the day.

Mikey, it was disappointing to not be able to see the lunar eclipse last night.

I received a spinal back injection this morning to help with the pain I have been experiencing. This was the third one over the last couple of years. I am still groggy from the anesthesia, so I am not sure what I am going to do tonight. I may try to paint some tracks. I could also start with the Trade Tower building model.

The weather is probably going to limit or eliminate any outside chores. I do need to break down and trash the wind destroyed gazebo and do a general clean up of the yards. We will need to make our usual trips to the pharmacy, grocery store, produce store, and PetSmart. Depending on how I feel I may try to do some spring cleaning. I also want to try to stay ahead of the laundry.

Modeling, I need to paint tracks, finish the base for the Golden Valley Canning Co, ballast some track. I could build some rolling stock kits and/or work on the Trade Tower building kit. I need to clear space on the layout for the Trade Tower and a couple of other projects I have in mind. Run some trains.

I hope everybody has a good day.

Beware the Ides of March, gang.

Currently it's 42 headed for a high of 36 later on with winds over 30 mph. Quite a change from yesterday's high of 75.

Due to the high winds yesterday I decided to go for a walk rather than ride the bike. Later in the afternoon the wind died down somewhat so I was able to ride for 7 miles again. This morning I'll get the laundry caught up and this afternoon and evening I'll be watching nieces in dance competition in Denver.

All stay safe.

It's still dark here at 07:20. I don't know what is happening weather wise but we didn't have the severe storms that were called for so for that I am thankful.

I am feeling much better but I am so weak I can hardly walk. I am exercising but it is going pretty slow. My wife is gaining back some movement everyday. She has come a long way but still has a long way to go.

Gas was 2.79. Eggs are still up but have dropped a couple bucks.

Cheers

Hello Blue
Just checking in.
We have a rainy weekend with a Hi of 55 today.
A club meet last night but I haven't done any toy train things this week.
Gas is still around the 3-dollar mark.
