i belong to 3 other sites and the old site was the most helpful and the people seemed more friendly to me and fellow modellers.
there does not seem to be any judges or train gods here to decide if your way or my way of modelling is right or wrong. helpful advice, no over bearing personalities so i like this group the best so far.
besides no one laughs when i post about my leasing fleet
i am now awaiting a new arrival, the nw2 switcher in CN colours, CN seem must be hurting all my long term or short leasers are coming back to me now. going to have to find new clients with deep pockets to pay the bills

I'm here as well. Nice to see a real gauge back online.

That is exactly what makes this place so great, everyone is nice and kind, offers critique if you ask for it, and gives encouraging words. Help is given with overwhelming amounts sometimes. All things that come to make a great place like this run and be the greatest train forum on the web

I fully expect this forum will be exactly the same, since we'll have the same mods nad members, for the most part. Yep, that has always been one of its strongest points.
