Great looking locomotives. That Athearn kit was such a good starting point for a switcher. Unfortunately, their motors had a lot to be desired. I don't remember which can motor I put in it, but it is still one of the best running little switchers I have.

The MU hoses I used on my Athearn SW1500 are Cal-Scale (Bronze, I believe) Part #190-277. 4 hoses to a pack.
