After leaving the farm you come to the town of Tomah, named after an indian chief from the area. At one time Tomah had a large repair yard, so that's what I modeled. here is an overview it's 2' wide and 9' long.

here is the car barn repair area. the original barn was 300' long and 16 stalls wide, I had to compress it alittle.

there are only two structures still left in the yard, the office and a large curved team dock.

Nice. I really like the car barn, the sanding tower, etc. Scenes like this of maintenance or locomotive yards always appeal to me, and your is nicely done! Thumbsup

Across from the office was the salvage yard.

in back of that was the REA building and some odd sheds, in the background you can see the Tomah station.

Upon leaving Tomah we turn to the southeast and to the Mill Bluff State Park area . But first you pass the Eastside Texaco station.

the parks dept decided to put in a small lake for swimming, but first all the trees had to be cleared out.

As you pull into the town of Camp Douglas the track turns almost dead South. here is an overview, the section is 2' wide with a slight bump at the end and is 9' long.

before the train passes under the Main St. bridge it passes the Camp Douglas Farmers Co-op 's fuel oil, gasoline and LP gas facility.

then under the bridge, past a few houses and right in back of the feed mill.

by the way, I run that feed mill, have for 30 years.

Leaving Camp Douglas the train turns due east again and passes through a small town called Orange Mill Here is an overview looking west. The section is 2' wide and 5' long.

Here is the mill. This mill had an undershot wheel, the wheel laid flat underneath the mill and the water hit it from one side.
