8/23/1977. Looking east from North Pleasant Drive, East Palestine, Ohio. This is the exact location of the train wreck in 2023. The box car on the siding was set out the previous night because of a pulled drawbar on the east rnd. I heard them on the scanner and took my chain down and they used it to pull the car ahead to the switch to set it off.

A little different one for today 8/25/1977. A smoking refrigerator car. Athearn sells one with sound but no one is offering one with smoke.
