amazing wood carver - jim currie - 02-21-2026 was leafing through some 0old model magazine's today and ran across the article on earnest Warther's the detail he put into his locomotive carvings still stuns me , I don't think most of the younger members of the form ever heard of him if you haven't goggle him its worth the time. It costs a lot more to viit today than it did 40 years ago. It was one of our weekend motorcycle trips. I would like to see it myself but it's a 3- or 4-day trip one way for me seeing it in person must be inspiring as just looking at the photos impress be with his attention to detail. Visiting a place like that in person must be such an inspiring experience for anyone who appreciates fine craftsmanship. |
