Here is the newest work for the ACTRR. This weekend I built a Bar Mills Banks Icing Platform.
I still need to add roofs and paint he whole thing.
You can also see the silo's to the Walthers ADM grain elevator that I split in two and primed for sanding.
The icing platform will go near the depot on that same side of the yard.

No , we have just been re-modeling two bathrooms and work has been busy getting ready for the test firing of the NASA Orian Abort Flight System rocket on May 6. Go or no it should make national news on the 6th.
PS no I am not a rocket scientist , just a phone guy for the ARMY.

The icing platform is a very nice looking structure. You and OBJack are making me see MountainMan's point about modeling the "older structures with character" versus the modern area "box" structures. I'm seeing that the laser-cut wood structures and craftsman kits are darned neat.

Well they are now pretty darn easy as well. I built this one in an evening and part of today.
Gotta love laser cut kits!!

Here is the final product after paint and matching to the Icehouse I already had. This is now a mix of a Bar Mills Banks Ice House kit and JL Innovative Design Brookside Icehouse kit.
I really like the results.
(Yes I know) the one ice handler seems to be intoxicated!
