Andrew Building Modules - MasonJar - 01-21-2010 One of the guys (Railway Bob) at our local modular club (www.hotrak.ca) has started a blog with an illustrated step-by-step on how to build modules. The blog follows the progress of a pair of modules built to HOTrak standards, but can be adapted to meet any modular/domino/sectional layout that must be regularly transported. http://railwaybobsmodulebuildingtips.blogspot.com/ Railway Bob is also a member (although infrequent poster) here at Big Blue. I live near Utica. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Can't help with that specific question - maybe the NMRA club listing has something? But www.hotrak.ca in Ottawa is less than 4 hours. While I am not suggesting that you come for every weekend set-up, the annual "Rally" in January would be worth the trip. Andrew Re: Modular Resources & Clubs - torikoos - 02-09-2013 NMRA-BR (British Region) 'standards' are here: http://www.nmrabr.org.uk/member-article ... cification Hopefully we'll see more and more UK (and perhaps european) modellers adopt these for larger and larger gatherings around the UK, also see this thread : viewtopic.php?f=17&t=6482 Koos Re: Modular Resources & Clubs - Sumpter250 - 02-09-2013 For those of you in the Lake County Illinois area, Lake County society of Modular Engineers. Module specifications can be obtained through Ron's Mundelein Hobbies, or I can scan and print a set. We are at Trainfest every year, and there are occasional Mall shows that we attend, for a weekend of fun. |
