I've only looked thru a few of the brands, I can't believe how many there are! I was surprised to see so many Esso stations in the 2000's, they were all changed to Exxon in the 70's ( I think it was the 70's) around here. Did they not change in Canada? Well about the same time, Standard Oils company decided to use a bee as their"spokesperson." So they started to build an ad campaign using a bee, but the reatailers put a stop to it becuase they didn't want to be known as "The Esso Bees." true story!!! |
