Re: My Hometown---Part 2 - cn nutbar - 12-16-2011 Hello Everyone---I had an opportunity to do a bit of railfanning today. Here's some of the action. Re: My Hometown---Part 2 - cn nutbar - 12-23-2011 Christmas Greetings to Everyone---a good day for railfanning.A spiffy Geep (8222) at Kinnear Yard looks really good for a 50 year old locomotive Here's an older sister (8225) in ST.L & H colours Next stop,Stuart St. The next few shots were taken at the "cowpath" showing a CP heading west from Hamilton Here's another Geep seen in mainline action Re: My Hometown---Part 2 - BR60103 - 12-23-2011 Many years ago (about the time CPR stopped actively pushing the STL&H), I was offered a set of decals for STL&H at a railway show. I didn't see a way to get them home and store them and I wasn't working in 12" to the foot at the time. It probably didn't occur to you until after you got home that you could have simply applied them to your car. Wayne Re: My Hometown---Part 2 - Southern Tuxedo - 12-24-2011 cn nutbar, What are the two blue engines in the third picture down labeled "Stuart St."? Re: My Hometown---Part 2 - cn nutbar - 01-11-2012 Hello Everyone---it sounds like we may get some nasty weather over the next couple of days so I got out today while the going was good.Kinnear Yard and Stuart St. highlighted some GP-38's At Bayview,I caught BC Rail C44-9W 4653 with CN 2648 Finally I headed out to Howard Rd. in Aldershot---I lucked out here as CN C40-8W # 2191 and C44-9WL 2504 were making a lift so there was plenty of time to take pictures---here's some of the action Re: My Hometown---Part 2 - Charlie B - 01-11-2012 It is nice to see some color other than black and white (sorry Ralph) on motive power. Nice shots Nutbar. About time for me to get over to New Castle for some CSX, at least they aren't black. Maybe on over to the B&P for some orange.... Keep up the good work. It is almost the same as being there.
