Looks really neat, what did you use to take the pictures? Re: Lighting a N scale caboose. - woodone - 10-25-2010 Yes, I thought it turned out nice. Still some work to do. The Camera showed some light bleed which was not visible with your eye. I will have to paint the inside with black paint to keep that in check. The camera used?? I will have to ask my friend who shot the video for me. That type of thing is above my pay grade. Re: Lighting a N scale caboose. - e-paw - 10-25-2010 Cool I like it. What did you use for the flashing EOT? That would be quite a task in HO, nevermind N. Good work. Re: Lighting a N scale caboose. - Herc Driver - 10-25-2010 That is really neat! Do the metal wheels pick up power or is it all battery powered? Re: Lighting a N scale caboose. - woodone - 10-26-2010 e-paw Wrote:Cool I like it. What did you use for the flashing EOT? Two LEDs for the red lights which are feed into fiber optic cables which then are lead to the exterior of the caboose. The interior light is a bulb. BTW I must dim a bit. You can control the lights off and on. Also the FL-4 will let me change the way the light flash and so forth. Glad that you like it. I have eight wheels that pick up the rail power for the decoder. Re: Lighting a N scale caboose. - tetters - 10-26-2010 How neat is that! Very cool.
