Watch out! Black & whites! - TrainNut - 12-09-2008 No, the police aren't coming to get you... (should they be?) but rather I thought it'd be neat to see some black and white pictures of your favorite rail scene... or any scene for that matter. Let's see 'em! Re: Watch out! Black & whites! - ngauger - 12-10-2008 Here are a few from me Re: Watch out! Black & whites! - ngauger - 12-10-2008 A Bridge View Re: Watch out! Black & whites! - doctorwayne - 12-10-2008 Thanks, Tom. Here's the crossing with just a farmer's pick-up in the picture: And here's the same crossing, on another day, with the same truck. The train wasn't supposed to be in the same shot, though. Wayne Re: Watch out! Black & whites! - eightyeightfan1 - 12-10-2008 From an old post card I bought at a show. NOT! One of my compositions. Re: Watch out! Black & whites! - TrainNut - 12-11-2008 Cool shots guys. Thanks for contributing. Hey Doc, your pictures have all got a slight... haze to them. Is that characteristic of black and white pictures? Did the Brownie cameras used to do that? Re: Watch out! Black & whites! - ngauger - 12-11-2008 TrainNut Wrote:Cool shots guys. When I change the photos to b&w, I usually decrease the contrast somewhat, and often add a bit of yellow to give them a little "age". Wayne Re: Watch out!
