e-paw Wrote:looks good Thumbsup , What type of glue are you using on the printed parts?

You can use strong double sided tape or duo epoxy glue like araldite.

The project keeps going.

The left one (battery powered) is built and the right one (dcc fitted) is on the way.

You did use powder for the rust, didn't you? It looks very good.

I used to imitate the paint and the rust : powder (pigment for oil, it's cheaper) and pastel chalk that I reduced with a sand paper.

Now the second unit :

It's the same as the number one except that it's for me.

Jean-Pierre Duval has done a superb work.

I have to finish it, paint it and weather it.

I can't believe I missed you previous completed model. You really outdid yourself with the subtle paint wear and rust. You rally have a good sense of observation for such details.

Best luck with the second plymouth. Will you paint it in similar fashion as the first one or try a different paint scheme?

Matt

Thank you for the comment.

I will try another paint scheme, perhaps with a worn, tired and faded yellow for the cab and black for the chassis.
