2014 Big Blue NASCAR Racin'!!!! - ngauger - 02-12-2014
I've been waiting for ESPN to set up the Fantasy Racing for 2014 and they still have not set it up as yet. I'm thinking of opening a league at NASCAR.com.

Basically, we can accommodate up to 25 players in a Private League as always.
We have a $100.00 fantasy salary cap for 5 drivers. (same as last year)
If you are not a member at nascar.com you will have to join and sign in.
So, Anyone that is interested in joining in on all the fun now through November.. Please reply here or PM me and we'll decide whether to go nascar.com or wait a few more days and see if ESPN sets up their league.

I'm disappointed that we can't go ESPN again .....I don't like the NASCAR site . Just now had trouble logging in , finally got in on the 5th try . It's typical of the problems I've had with that site , log-in issues , finding info , navigating the site . Don't know if anyone else has issues . It drops " keep me logged in " very easily . I don't have problems with any other website , just NASCAR for whatever reason .

That's why I'm holding out for ESPN - I like that a lot better too!!

I have problems with NASCAR.com too. I hope we can go with ESPN again too. Guess we have to wait and see.
It should be an interesting season, with winning races being more important than concistancy. we'll see.

I just received an e-mail from ESPN:
We will not be running the Stock Car Challenge in 2014.
So................... We have to find somewhere else to play

Why are we going with established leagues.
We can do our own.
We could try this.
Pick three of your favorite drivers. We can double up on them. Say I like Dale Jr., so does someone else. We can both pick him.
Points given using the NASCAR points system. Total points given to all three drivers.
Example:
Player 1:
Daytona 500
Dale Jr. 1st place 85 points
Carl Edwards : 2nd place 80 points
Tony Stewrat : 3rd place 75 points
Total for week: 240 points
Total points accumalte through the whole season. Winner gets bragging rights.
I would gladly volunteer to adminstrate the league.
Plus there is no registering...You all are already here.

You could do that and just use the NASCAR points system
1st - 43
2nd - 42 etc etc

The first Sprint Cup practice is on Fox Sports 1 at 10:30 am tomorrow.. (Saturday)
The Sprint Unlimited is tomorrow night also on FS1
