HO gauge rail stops - CSX_UK - 12-06-2015

Hi,

I was hoping somebody could help me. I am based in the UK, and I am looking for rail stops/ blocks. I have tried scratch building them but I am really not happy with the results. I have included some pics of what I am looking for. Any help would be really appreciated, thank you.

This Walthers bumpers are similar and very wide used

Should be no problem to find a local source.

Thanks, that's fantastic - exactly what I was looking for. I wasn't searching for "track bumpers" so that's why I was struggling. In the UK we call them rail stops or more commonly, buffers.

Believe it or not, but Peco make them. I got mine from Model Junction in Slough. http://www.modeljunction.info/estore/pr ... s_id=25901 This one is a cushioned type, but others are available. Put Bumper Stops in the search box.

The little wheel stops have been available. Mine are a bit old and no longer in the package. I think they were Canadian made and in both CP and CN designs.

I think custom finishing or Juneco made them at one point.

That was Juneco that made them. I still have several pairs stashed away. Search for 'Wheel Stops' in the Walthers catalogue or Ebay and you should find them
