RE: My Hometown---Part 4 - BR60103 - 08-16-2020 Post 131 There was a cartoon years ago (Doug Wright?) of two car washers on the side of a CN North America loco: "Now look what you've done. You scrubbed right through the paint!" RE: My Hometown---Part 4 - doctorwayne - 08-16-2020 That's what it looked like to me, too. I've always liked the CNR's green/gold/black paint scheme, but for me, the Sergeant Stripes are a very close second - in my opinion, one of the best of all "modern" paint schemes. P1410751 by Ed Creechan, on Flickr RE: My Hometown---Part 4 - cn nutbar - 10-26-2020 On 10/25/2020 I received an e-mail that CP Military Heritage locomotive #6644 was scheduled on CP246 through my hometown so I went out in the rain to catch her as she passed through Kinnear Yard BUT due to some unexpected mechanical issues she only made it as far as Guelph Junction and was replaced by another locomotive.A bit disappointing but anytime I get to do some rail-fanning is a good day for me---here's some alternative pictures instead of #6644.
