just go to a liquor store and get a pint of ever clear. 96%, the up side is its drinkable if this lock down goes on much longer.

I think mineral spirits are an excellent solution for track cleaning. It is also available in an eco-friendly version, so there is almost no odor. I have been using it for many years. Glenn

I use Track & Rail Cleaner ACT-6006, a product from Aero-Car Hobby Lubricants.
It’s a great substitute for Rubbing alcohol which can be hard on acrylic paint or Kerosene which smells too bad to be used in a small room.
The product is great too for cleaning car wheels.
