Welcome back to Jack on Tracks! In this episode, I take an old estate-sale N Scale Pennsylvania caboose and give it a complete upgrade. We install Streamline Back Shop N Scale wheel wipers, add a working red LED marker light, build a compact keep alive circuit, weather the trucks and roof, and improve the overall appearance of this classic caboose.

This project wasn't without challenges! From dirty wheelsets and truck modifications to melted plastic, wiring headaches, and camera storage issues, you'll see the entire process—successes, mistakes, and all. By the end, this $5 caboose is transformed into a great-looking, illuminated piece of rolling stock that's ready for the layout.

Whether you're into N Scale model railroading, DCC lighting projects, caboose detailing, weathering techniques, or simply enjoy watching railroad modeling builds, there's something here for you.
