Thanks again everyone for those kind wishes. It turned out to be a rather "just another day" day... No parties, no cake, no presents, just that we went out to a nice dinner and watched movies when we came home. I guess when you get to be our age, that's about as exciting as things get.
We decided years ago that we wouldn't exchange presents anymore. If we wanted, or needed something, we'd get it then rather than wait. Heck, if we waited for a birthday to come around, we might have forgotten what we wanted by then, or maybe too crotchety to be able to use it. :o
