Over the two last years, I have build five CNR Reefer kits made by Funaro & Camerlengo. Recently I have found another kit of the same car for 20$. I couldn't resist to expand the fleet.
I already completed the underbody. Not long ago I would have considered it a challenge. But this time it went quite fast with good results. Practice may be the key here.
Still struggling with those small doors and hatches handles though.

The assembly of the car is already completed. Thanks to cold and snow we had over here in February.
Here are some photos of the car before it goes to the paint shop.
Lot of small parts.

Very nice job Guy
You really go all out on the details
It's impressive how you manage to install the miniature grab irons on the hatches

Some photos of the finished car.
This one is the last of a series of eight CNR 8 Hatches Reefers. Six of them were assembled from Funaro & Camerlengo kits of three slightly different styles. The other two are True Line Trains cars I have repainted and lettered.
This last car is certainly the nicest looking one. With experience gained on the previous ones I was able to avoid mistakes and do a job with less flaws. I also changed the colour a little.
Here is a family portrait.
