Last 2 days have been a bit disrupted.
managed to get a Dr.s appointment for 11:30 to check on some pains in my leg I've had a baker's cyst that's been drained 3 times so far. I was sent for an Xray and a scan -- got in immediately for the Xray and had an appointment for 8:00 this morning for the scan. (Dayle pushed a bit -- they were offering me sometime in January). Then Dayle had a physio session at noon. That pretty much absorbed our day.
I don't know what I've got -- the lab tech can only tell the doctor and that may take 4 days.

Good evening folks
I wish I could get here earlier and more often but between work, medical issues, and the next home crisis I have no time. Tom and David I hope all goes well and you recovery fully and quickly.
Despite all the other stuff going on I had a productive train week. I added numbers and names to 16 Walthers passenger cars, converted 4 Athearn Blue Box passenger cars to Kadee couplers, change the wheels to metal, and added screws to the coupler clips. On a IHC RPO I converted the couplers to Kadee using the #504 conversion kit. I also changed the wheels to metal. I ran some trains and made a video.
This weekend we don’t have any solid plans. I need to run to PetSmart, and the grocery store. My wife and I are trying to figure out something to do like visit a museum or something similar.
I plan to run some trains and perhaps make another video. I may add numbers to a few more Walthers passenger cars. I have some Accurail rolling stock to renumber.
I hope everybody has a good evening.

Greetings, gang.
Partly cloudy and 49 this morning in the remote reaches of northern Iowa. Around 70 for the high today and similar but slightly lower temperatures along with minor chances for rain for the remainder of the week.
Rode the pollution solution vehicle to the soccer match yesterday and as expected my granddaughter told me I was crazy. They all acted like it was a big deal but at 8 miles it was a minor trip for me. Sure, it takes a while in the spring to build up to that but by the end of the season I routinely ride over 15-20 miles. No major plans for today. Tomorrow I'll attack the leaf invasion again.
All stay safe.

Hello Blue
We have sun this morning, 65 for the day. Visited the clubhouse on Friday evening, not very many there as some were at York. I don't go anymore it's tiring for an old guy keeping up with the "kids". Watched the Lions win yesterday, no errands on my menu for today. Gas is way up in the 4.50 range.

Greetings, gang.
Cloudy, drizzly and 55 degrees in the remote reaches of northern Iowa this morning. Rain supposedly ending by noonish with a high in the mid to upper 60s. Maybe 70 by tomorrow.
Yesterday was moderately productive. Hit a couple of grocery stores early then cleaned up leaves in the yard. Hauled them off and then washed and gassed up the car. After lunch I cleaned the storm windows for the front porch. I never install them until after halloween. It's easier to repair a screen than to replace glass. Also safer. Granted, in 46 years I've never had a problem but why start now. Also got a couple of bills paid and then relaxed with a bad science fiction movie from the 50s and some hot buttered popcorn. Then last evening one of the great-grandsons had a choir concert. All in all a pretty good day.
Gas was $4.04 yesterday.
All stay safe.
