Does everyone understand what's happening this Saturday morning with SpeedTV / Fox Sports 1??????
As of 8:00 am EDT Saturday - Speed will cease to exixt. In it's place will be Fox Sports 1
They will still cover all the NASCAR stuff, but they will be covering all sports - they will be competing with ESPN.
Now the lousy news:
SpeedTV added an average of 23 cents to your cable bill.... Fox Sports1 (FS1) will be adding 80 cents and next year will increase to 1.40 on average.
FS1 is trying to open in 90 million households - but they STILL have Not made an agreement with some of the satellite carriers.. Gee?? You think it's the money??
If - You have SpeedTV and you look at your guide and scroll to next Saturday.. You should see NASCAR trucks shows on Saturday at 8:00 to 1:00... If you don't see that - Your company is one of the ones that will continue to show Reruns of SpeedTV shows until they work out the contracts.... In other words, you will Not be able to see any of the "new" FS1 NASCAR stuff.......
But wait!! There's more Crappy stuff:
They have cancelled a bunch of Speed Shows to make room for the new FS1 stuff..... Wind Tunnel and some of the NASCAR stuff will be missing
We will have a few different commentators and Regis Philbin will be on FS1 at some point.... We'll jut have to get used to it - I guess.......
