My Hometown---Part 2
Hello Everyone---Even though it was hot and hazy I had a chance to do some railfanning today.I thought I would try a couple of different spots that I haven't visited including the Thomas McQuesten bridge which overlooks the Desjardin Canal.Back in 1857 there was a horrific accident at this site when a passenger train broke an axle and plunged into the canal with a couple of coaches resulting in the loss of 57 souls. The bridge offers a great panoramic view of the Hamilton bay and surroundings and CN even co-operated with a train to complete the scene. The pictures start at the west end of the Stuart St. yard and proceed west---hope you enjoy.

I eventually ended up at Bayview where I caught a freight and a Via train and ended my day at CP's Kinnear Yard.
