Having had no comments on my track plan, I've decided to go with it. The main line is now laid, wired and tested
The transformer I'm using is quite old, and 'hums' a bit .... I might have to replace it
At least the 'HIgh Frequency Track Cleaner' is new and working well - another good reason to stick with DC - I haven't had to clean track for over twenty years since I started using them
Next up I need to get the main industry buildings tided up so I can accurately position the spurs, and likewise the loco servicing area. Also I have to decide on dimensions for the car float so I can lay the lead tracks.
Once the last tracks are laid I can finish the wiring and start to enjoy myself!
Cheers,
Kev
