Medicaid covers the lancets and strips. They don't cover the meter. That came out of my pocket. The meter was $29.93. Copay on the strips and lancets came to $5 ($3 and $2) for total $34.93 plus tax. I don't know about the accuracy claim. I took five test readings and it gave me five different readings within fifty points.
