We went to the Train display at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton today.
Interesting G display using a lot of natural product. Dayle says it looks like the Botanical Gardens layout in New York.
Also a few rooms full of smaller models, including a sectional layout of Bayview Junction which is right beside the RBG property.
Visited the Hobby Shop down there. Managed to pick up some Floquil concrete coloured paint; no other concrete available. Does Floquil's final formula brush paint on plastic? I still have a bottle of barrier from the olden days (and a half-pint of DioSol). Also got a tube of Tamiya filler.
Today's funny purchase: one upright for a set of IKEA shelves. I had an upright and 5 small shelves left over from the layout supports, so I now have another foot of shelving.
Snow was blowing around but not landing much.
