Hi at all!!
After a long time of absence from the forum I'm now back in town...
This year I had a break in building my layout because I was more than a half year in the hospital.
Meanwhile I have started some work on my C&O project, not at the modules but on the rolling stock.
For a long time I was looking for heavy triple hoppers, lettered for the C&O. During my research I have found the great Ulrich Triple Hoppers with offset sides on Ebay North America. One test car was purchased last year I was surprised. Very heavy, sturdy all metal construction with a wight of 142 gramms (around 4 ounces). Till today I have bought 19 cars. These cars I will repaint and decal with C&O letterings. And here are the results:
