Good morning folks, I hope the bad winter weather has cleared up for you, I keep seeing scenes on the TV that are bone-chilling, cars stuck in ice, buildings that looked like one big icicle, and vehicle accidents galore. The only people that are going to gain by all this are the auto body repair shops.
Tom, Yeah, the batteries check out good and the outdoor temps worked just fine as well. That is, until I tried to move the part of the wire that was outside. It crumbled in my hand, as did the sensor... it just couldn't take about eight years of the Arizona sun. Not a bad ROA, but not as good as yours. Still, my new one has a display with numbers that are over 1 1/2" high, and at my age, that's a good thing...

Replaced the battery and it still works fine. My wife picked up two of them one year after Christmas for 10 cents apiece. Hers lasted about a week and quit working. I still have my 15 years later....Tom
