I received my some 1:20.3 trucks this week. Two pairs of Colorado Central trucks and two pairs of D&RG 1872 trucks, plus running gear for a D&RG 4-wheel caboose. I designed them and had them printed by Shapeways in nylon (white strong and flexible). I'll upload photos soon. It was pretty cool to assemble the first of these massive...3'4"wb Colorado Central trucks. I'm also working on some wheels which I'll run through my lathe...duplicate in resin...and then re-turn them and mount in 1/8" axles to create some highly detailed and inexpensive wheelsets. The impetus for this was building a 1:20.3 scale Colorado Central 23' flat car (w/3D printed hardware) as a Christmas present for my kids. Now, I need to get their D&RG Montezuma (an 1871 2-4-0) completed and then give them each a freight car as well as a caboose for Christmas next year. The plan is D&RG #49 (at Golden) as the bobber, with an 1872 gondola and boxcar...plus either a 26' Colorado Central excursion car or a 24' CC gondola. Flats and especially gons are popular with them...they fill them with toys. An excursion car would be great for all those Playmobile knights and pirates to ride on.
