The Hobo Camp Fire Is going well #VI.. Stop In!!!
Greetings, gang.

RB - glad to hear everything is going well for you.

First up the good news. Son has a hole between two of the chambers in his heart. Now, before you panic, everyone is born with this. For most people the hole grows closed in infancy and early childhood. In some people, it never grows closed but that person may live a full and complete life without ever knowing it's there. In my son's case it didn't work quite that way. This is what caused the blood clot which caused the mini stroke. There was some discussion about surgery to close the hole but the neurologist and the cardiac specialist decided that the hole is too small to be worth the risk of surgery and that the best course of treatment is a daily aspirin. He is home now and is slowly recovering speech, physical, and mental abilities but all signs are positive.

My wife had her first chemo today and it went well but after we got home she started having some pain in her stomach. After a call to OneNurse we took her to the emergency room where she was treated with Mylanta and released. She is sleeping peacefully right now.

I want to thank all of your for your good thoughts, prayers, burnt offerings, rubber chicken waving, or what ever it is that you have done. Today was a good day and I thank all of you.
