Here's something that wasn't very common. An Apple Disk II drive with an Apple Platinum 5ΒΌ" disk drive cable. Only modification required was to cut the back of the case so the cable could be mounted. And yes, it works.

One the model train front I got one of the Varney F3A bodies cleaned up so it can eventually be repainted. A metal body gives more options as to what paint stripper can be used. In this case I used Klean-Strip Premium.
