I noticed some grit by the foundation of the building with the Coke sign.You could do the same thing for those buildings that have to remain removable.What I have done in that situation was put down the grit where it needed to be (with some extending into the building's footprint.Set the building down on/in the grit apply a little pressure to leave a impression of the buildings footprint remove the building and gently wet the grit then glue it down being careful not to disturb it,let it dry then replace the building.
Did not mean to write a book about this ,but in the end you have a building that looks like it is part of the landscape and not something that was just set there to have something there.
