Recently I replaced the wheels on my older Athearn BB diesels with nickle silver wheels in an attempt to eliminate wheel sparking.
After I replaced the wheels I hit them with a small shot of powdered graphite. As I began to running the diesels with the new wheel sets I noticed
that they were a little bit louder than before.
Should I have used a different lubricant?
