Trains on this day in the past:
Hand laying a turnout. March 15, 1998. This was done with 4 guys and no machines. We built an entire 750 foot siding the hard way.                  

I had the best volunteers possible.  One of them is now an Engineer with the New Castle Industrial Railroad, and one of them is now the supervisor of operations at the KJR.
