Alco S-2 3003 in fresh paint in New Castle, Pa. This project took over a year. The body on this locomotive was in sad shape. Some members of the Beaver Valley Junction Historical Society worked every Saturday and Sunday to get it back in shape. The unit belonged to ISSR which later became NCIR (New Castle Industrial Railroad) Sadly it did not withstand the mechanics that worked on it and it met the scrappers torch.
