I tried the first time a light gray wash on the dark gray wall to look faded. It worked quite well. The lighter walls and the change of the ground from asphalt to concrete made it more friendly.
I have been convinced to stay with the pellet loading facility from Walthers. It looks right in the context with the cars and buildings.
