I played with late autumn/winter foliage. I mixed a half pack of Noch #07168 (leaf foliage Set Autumn) with water, white glue and indian ink to get a slurry. The indian ink is required to go from beautiful indian summer to rotten winter foliage.

The fresh slurry was placed under the trees etc. where I want to have a pile of foliage. When the slurry dried I sprinkled it under trees and pushed it gently into the grass. This small elements are not glued in place as the glue and water would damage the static grass.
