ISL 2016 - Thinking out loud

So been looking at the industries and wondering if you guys have any advice on how to keep the industries looking separate but at the a=same time not ending up with large areas on backdrop with nothing against them? I guess the norm is bushes, trees, containers and buildings but at what point do I make it look too crowded and end up with the industries being too close and looking like one big industry?
