The Hobo Camp Fire Is going well #VII.. Stop In!!!
Man, every time I hear of the death of a soldier, it gets me right in the pit of my stomach. It is Remembrance Day on November 11th in Canada. This is the most important day of the year for me as I have had many family and friends both in and out of the Military who's lives been affected by conflict. Whether it is international or domestic issue's, when will the hate cease?

On a brighter note, it has stopped raining for a while at least, here on the wet coast of Canuck land. October was about twice our normal rainfall and we had half our November average in the first three days of the month. Usually, when we get really warm wet October/Novembers, we get cool and clear December/Januarys. Although we still have a hard time getting down to freezing some years.

Got a call from my daughter on Friday night that my wife had wrecked her hand lunging a rather large horse at the barn and was driving herself home and I would have to take her to the hospital. When she got here, two of her fingers were sideways (middle/ring) on her right hand. So off to the hospital we went. We walked in and the triage nurse says "no need to tell me what's wrong come on in". She went right off to X-ray for some pic's and came back to her bed in the E.R. The Doctor came in and brought up the X-rays on the big screen and it was clear one finger was very broken, while the other was just badly dislocated. He froze her hand and put her back together and she went off to X-ray to make sure everything was in place. Once again upon her return to the E.R. the pic's were brought up and everything was where it should be. A cast was then applied that goes halfway up her forearm.

The doctor then booked her an appointment right there at her hospital bed, to see the Hand specialist in a couple of days for the follow up in his office. We asked for her to see a friend of ours that is the hand specialist for the Vancouver Canucks hockey team and he made the appointment. We were in and out of the hospital in 1Hr 50 mins! What a slick operation. Thumbsup Worship

I then had to go back and get my daughter when she had finished riding later that night. My wife was off to show her dogs at a show 90KMS away the next morning as well as today and tomorrow. What a woman. Worship

I have actually been getting things done on the layout in the past couple of weeks. Must be all the rain. 357

Positive thoughts and best wishes for all. Cheers

Brent
