The wedge shaped building is part of the processing factory for the Handy Co. Once the scenic backdrop is in place the plant will be much larger and it should look a lot more obvious, but I've got a lot of work to do there before it'll start to make sense - I need to add an ultra-low relief factory building along the backdrop, probably using the Clevermodels Warehouse building, OR the American Pipe Company mill building, I've not decided on that yet. I might mock up both and see which I prefer.
Having just got home from work, I've placed all the structures on the extension and snapped the below picture - it's really starting to come together now!
