Yup, we need rain as well. Nothing in the forecast, just hot and dry...
As of 4:00PM yesterday, we declared ourselves as "homeless". Well, we still have a place to live, but our house finally closed escrow and we no longer own a home. it's kind of scary though. We don't have all the benefits of home ownership, like the financial gain of appreciation or the ability to knock out a wall or rip out a sink if you so desire. But, on the other hand, we don't have the burden of home ownership either, like fixing a leaky toilet or making sure that the yard meets with the HOA's standard of being weed-free and trimmed. Nor do I have to write a myriad of checks every month. Yeah, there are still a few, but I can let someone else worry about paying all the utility bills for now...
