Steve, your pictures are always a treasure and your captions and explanations, as well as knowledge is beyond anything I had to learn to keep an old clunker ( 
Alco running. To me the S2 was simple, the GP7 a nightmare.
You follow one rule I tell everyone and that is to get some scenery in the picture. I started with roster shots (which are great to have) but I wish I would have been farther back in a lot of them to get a better overall view. Today I stay back and use the telephoto to get the close ups. Years ago many photographers only took roster shots, and sadly had they captured some of the background it would have been a help to historians.
