Was there any power on the other end? We were limited as to # of traction motors in use (a "Desk Engineer" decision) so as not to "lift-off" derail cars...don't see any sand and little exhaust from nearest two units, and 50 cars @ 110+ gross tons each would be a lot on any grade with 4800hp, let alone with marginal traction. How steep was the grade there? (Does anybody care?) Nice Shot ! Bob
