Also there are many ways to re-create motar on brick. I've used wall spackle. Just rub it into the motar lines, wait for it to dry and rub the exxess off. My other go-to is to paint the entire structure in the motar color and then dry brush the brick in several different shads of brick color.
I will have to look into that about DPM. That never crossed my mind. Now that is something different, wall spackle. I might have to give that a try also.
