Good evening folks
Despite taking the day off to recover from our cruise today has been hectic. I was able to sleep in late then the chaos started. We have been unloading suitcases and doing vacation laundry. We had to run out to UPS and drop a package off and then Kohls for a couple of Amazon returns. I did get to fiddle some with the layout, and I hope to more this weekend. Not sure what I will do. Just go with the flow. Gas prices on our jaunt today were $2.87 to $3.35.
Weekend involves finishing unpacking and working on vacation laundry. We need to run to the produce store, grocery store, and PetSmart. Tomorrow is our 33rd Wedding Anniversary. Nothing special planned. After a week of cruise dinners, we are tired of fancy restaurants. Sunday is my daughter’s birthday, and she wants cheese steaks sandwiches from our favorite steak place. We may take a trip out to Linvilla Orchards which is a combination market, nursery, nick knack shop, and working farm. If the weather permits, we want to put up the outside Halloween decorations.
On the layout I have some things to put away. I want to run some trains. Perhaps I will build a couple of rolling stock kits. I may even do some ballasting. I also have passenger station platforms to build to replace the floor strike damaged ones.
